By downloading, installing or using FinWise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What FinWise is
FinWise is a personal finance tool that organises information from your bank SMS and your own entries, on your device. It helps you understand your money — it does not move money, connect to your bank, or execute any transaction.
2. Not financial or tax advice
FinWise provides information and calculations for your convenience. It is not a registered investment adviser, financial adviser, or accountant. Reports (including tax summaries and business statements) are aids for you and your Chartered Accountant to review — they are not professional advice and are not guaranteed to be complete or error-free. Always verify figures and consult a qualified professional before filing or making financial decisions.
3. Accuracy of automated reading
FinWise interprets bank SMS automatically. Message formats vary and some may be read incorrectly or missed. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your data using the in-app tools (e.g. Transaction Audit).
4. Your account & device
You are responsible for your device security, your account password, and any backups you create. Because data is stored locally, losing your device or uninstalling without a backup may permanently lose your data.
5. Subscriptions & payments
- A free trial period may be offered. PRO features require a paid plan (monthly, yearly or lifetime) at the prices shown in the app.
- During the current phase, payment is made by UPI and PRO is activated manually via a licence key we issue after verifying your payment.
- Refunds: as this is a digital product delivered instantly on activation, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or in case of a duplicate/erroneous charge. Contact us within 7 days for any billing issue and we will review it in good faith.
- A licence key is for your account and must not be shared, resold or published.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, forge licence keys, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
7. Availability & updates
FinWise is distributed directly (not via an app store). We may release updates through the app and our website. We may change or discontinue features over time.
8. Limitation of liability
FinWise is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndFinops is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app — including any decision made based on its information. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the app.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of the operator's registered location.
